Jayesh A. Punater
Founder & CEO

Jayesh Punater is the founder and visionary behind Gravitas. Jayesh founded Gravitas on the principles that businesses should be looked at “holistically,” and has built a firm that focuses on combining this principle with its high-quality, white-glove service methodology. As Chief Executive Officer, he focuses on the growth of the Gravitas franchise, by adding business lines as well as growing internationally ensuring the firm continues to expand its platform of knowledge process outsourcing, business consulting and technology solutions for small and mid-sized financial services firms. Prior to founding Gravitas in 1996, Jayesh held management roles in several technology consulting and manufacturing companies, including Manager of the Financial Services Vertical for DNA, a New York-based systems integrator, and also as Manager of Technical Support for high-end workstation manufacturer 68000 Inc. He received his B.S in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, and has completed extensive executive training in management, finance and marketing. Utilizing his family’s entrepreneurial business background as a base, he taught a course at Fordham University on entrepreneurship, and teaches many of the courses in Gravitas’ extensive internal training curriculum.

Harold Kahn
President

As President of Gravitas, Harold Kahn works closely with the executive management team to ensure that the highest level of professional services is being delivered across all the firm’s business lines serving the needs of its clients. Mr. Kahn previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer for two large multi-strategy alternative investment firms, Chief Financial Officer of a major global investment manager and, prior to that, he was a long tenured Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Kahn received his AB in Economics from Stanford University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mark Seaman
Managing Director, Business Consulting Services

Gravitas Managing Director Mark Seaman is responsible for providing high end business consulting services with respect to software platform integration and best business practices for front, middle and back office operational workflow. Prior to joining Gravitas, Mr. Seaman was a Partner and CIO for Spectrum Global Fund Administration. At Spectrum, he was instrumental in the formation of VCOO fund administration services offering and the creation of the required technology platform. He also served as a Vice President for SS & C Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of software solutions to the hedge fund community. Additionally, Mr. Seaman is a former Principal of Shepro Braun where he oversaw the product development of industry recognized applications such as Total Return and Antares.

Steven B. Richard
Managing Director, KPO Services

Steve Richard leads Gravitas’ Knowledge Process Outsourcing division, which provides Investment Research Support, Risk and Analytical Services, and Investor Relations services. Prior to launching Gravitas’ KPO offering, Steve led the firm’s Business Consulting Group, using his expertise in design, development and implementation of tailored technology solutions to help clients meet strategic and operational performance requirements. Before joining Gravitas, Steve was a partner and served as Chief Operating Officer for Spectrum Global Fund Administration where he developed and implemented a service-based organizational structure, in addition to leading the firm’s globalization effort by opening offices in the Cayman Islands, Bangalore, India and London. Before joining Spectrum, Steve worked at Investors Bank & Trust and for US Trust of NY, Mutual Funds Services Company and was an audit manager at Price Waterhouse.

Sunil Wadhwa
Managing Director, India Operations

Sunil Wadhwa has been with Gravitas for six years, holding several positions within the organization. Recently, he was promoted to Managing Director. He has been overseeing the global expansion of Gravitas’ offices, particularly in Mumbai, and continues to enhance our international presence. In his tenure at Gravitas, has also held roles in sales, client services, and internal operations. He also specializes in the areas of business continuity planning, helping many organizations mitigate their operational risk. Prior to joining Gravitas, Sunil was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and Co. for seventeen years. With Goldman, he worked in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Chicago and New York where he was part of the team responsible for providing technology for several company departments including Controllers, Risk and Legal. He received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and an Engineering degree for Delhi School of Engineering, Delhi University.

Olga Noy
Executive Director, Controller

Olga Noy oversees financial management reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and cash management. She is also responsible for implementing policies and systems for monitoring financial flow and best practices. Olga oversees the offshore Accounting arm of Gravitas based in Ahmedabad, India. She has been with the company since its inception, and has been involved in various aspects of business operations as well. Olga has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
